The Digi Voice Radio application and this website take the protection of your personal data seriously. This page explains what data is processed and why.
The app stores configuration data such as your callsign, DMR ID, server preferences and audio settings on your device only. Other than the basic usage statistics described below, this data is never sent to us. When you connect to DMR networks, your callsign and DMR ID are broadcast publicly through the network you join (e.g. BrandMeister), as is inherent to amateur radio.
Location permission is requested only if you choose to use the GPS/QTH grid locator feature, and location data is used only in reports you initiate.
Digi Voice collects basic usage statistics so we can see how many people use the app and on which platforms. On launch (and whenever you change your callsign), the following is sent to our servers:
Your raw IP address is never logged or stored — it is used only momentarily to look up the country/city and is discarded immediately afterward. This data is not shared with or sold to third parties; it is used only to view aggregate usage statistics (how many users, on which platform, in which country). No third-party analytics or crash-reporting SDK is used (e.g. Firebase, Crashlytics) — this data goes directly to Digi Voice's own server. If you'd like this data deleted, contact us at info@algsoft.net.tr.
This site does not store raw IP addresses for visit statistics; only a daily salted, irreversible hash (SHA-256) is kept. When you use the contact form, your name, e-mail address and message are stored solely to reply to you. They are never shared with third parties or used for advertising.
A single cookie (dv_lang) remembers your language preference; no tracking cookies are used.
Under GDPR and Turkish KVKK you have the right to access, correct and request deletion of your data. Use the e-mail address in the contact section for any request.
