DVPX

Digi Voice Protocol eXtended — a new protocol modulation we developed in-house. It supports a server/call group list from the central panel and full-duplex private calls. The voice engine we developed from scratch uses a vocoder called GEVEZE.

Yes. To transmit on amateur bands and DMR networks you need a valid amateur radio license in your country and a DMR ID obtained from RadioID.net.
Do I need a hotspot or radio hardware?+
No. Digi Voice connects to DMR networks directly over the internet. Your phone or computer is all you need.
Which protocols are supported?+
The following are fully supported: DVPX, DMR, TGIF, NXDN, M17, P25, YSF/FCS, D-Star (DCS), and IAX (AllStar). These are actively supported.
How can I improve audio quality?+
The built-in Codec2 vocoder is sufficient in most cases.

What Is DVPX?+
DVPX is a voice, data, and video transmission protocol and modulation developed from scratch specifically for the Digi Voice ecosystem. It can also be used in traditional radio systems that have the required RF architecture. It was developed by Digi Voice software developer Fatih ÖNDER (TB1TFO). It was developed from scratch, from the audio engine to the modulation structure. In terms of audio quality, it is significantly superior to other protocols and has very low latency. The modulation protocol is named DVPX (Digi Voice Protocol eXtended). The vocoder used is named GEVEZE.
